- What is a digital wedding invitation?
- A digital wedding invitation is an invitation your guests open on their phone instead of receiving on paper. With Agapaé it is a designed page at its own private link: your photographs, your story, your church and venue, the schedule of the day — and the RSVP, so your guests can reply in the same place they read it.
- How does a digital wedding invitation work?
- You fill in your details, your photographs and your schedule, and your invitation is given its own private link. You send that link — by email from your guest list, or any way you like. Your guests open it on their phone, read it, and reply inside it, and their answers arrive in your guest list.
- Do guests need an app?
- No. The invitation opens in the browser your guests already have on their phone. There is nothing for them to install.
- Do guests need an Agapaé account?
- No. Your guests do not create an account and do not set a password to open your invitation or to reply to it.
- How do guests RSVP?
- Inside the invitation. They open it, choose to reply, and answer for every person on their invitation and every part of your celebration. If they arrived through a personal link, their name and their party are already there.
- Can guests RSVP for companions?
- Yes. A guest can add the people coming with them — a partner, a child, someone who was not on the list. Anyone a guest adds is marked for your review, so your numbers never change without you.
- Can guests reply separately for the ceremony and the reception?
- Yes. Your celebration is made of moments — the ceremony, the reception, the party afterwards — and each person answers for each one. You see who is coming to the church, who is coming to dinner, and who is coming to both.
- Can a guest change their RSVP?
- A guest replies once. If something changes afterwards they let you know, and you update their answer from your guest list — which is also how your final headcount stays right.
- Does every guest get their own invitation link?
- Yes, when you send the invitation by email from your guest list. Each guest receives a link of their own, which opens their invitation with their name and their party already on it.
- Can guests receive the invitation in their own language?
- Yes. Each guest has their own language — Greek or English — and receives the invitation in it. It is set for each guest, not once for the whole wedding.
- Is this a wedding website?
- Not quite. A wedding website is usually a small site you build and arrange yourself. An Agapaé invitation is a single designed page: you provide your photographs, your story and your details, and they are laid out in one design made for a wedding. It is closer to an invitation you can open, answer and keep in your pocket than to a site.
- Can I see a real invitation before buying?
- Yes. We keep a complete sample invitation open for anyone to read. You can scroll through all of it and try the RSVP — it belongs to a wedding that isn’t happening, and nothing you enter is saved.
- Which Agapaé plan includes the digital invitation?
- Heirloom. The invitation, the RSVP, your guest list, email invitations and table planning are all part of Heirloom. Guest photo sharing is available on every plan, including the free one.
- Does it work for baptisms?
- Yes. Agapaé supports weddings, baptisms, and a wedding and baptism celebrated on the same day. The invitation and its wording follow the celebration you choose.
- Is the invitation private?
- Your invitation lives at a long, randomly generated address that cannot be guessed, and it is never listed anywhere on Agapaé. Only the people you send the link to can reach it. It is not password protected, so share the link the way you would share the invitation itself.
